Drove 2 hours from St Louis ! Went to see the Joe Stamm Band (Peoria IL) with my wife. LOVED the venue. Perfect setting for a great night of music and laughter. Their bartender makes a mean long island iced tea and works her tail-end off to make your drinks right - and she really did so. So if you are looking for a wonderful night's entertainment - The MIssion JC is the place to go!!

I had only been in the mission once before for some kind of after work thing so I didn't have too much of a memory of it. But then my granddaughter Nina Schmidt and two of her friends the Burnese sisters (I think that's how you say it) played there and my granddaughter invited me. It was the most relaxed atmosphere with not too much overcrowding there were plenty of tables and chairs and room to breathe my daughter came along and brought her little girl who's was 6 months at the time and she just climbed around on the tables and the bench seats and people smiled at her and that was all good and the music was wonderful and I'm a little partial because Nina's my granddaughter but it touched my heart so deeply when they played for their last song "You Are My Sunshine"because I sang it to my first daughter when she was born my mother had sung it to me and then my daughter sang it to her baby girl when she was born and then her baby girl grew up and played it in a pub and everyone sang with it and tears rolled down my face thinking of how I'd passed something along from my show was great and the barkeep and help were all friendly with smiles!

he Mission is officially back open and running! The team has refreshed the space, and they are welcoming Jefferson City once again with great drinks, live music, and the same friendly atmosphere that has made this place a local favorite.

Great place for family entertainment when conditions are right. Looking forward to positive outcomes and fine tuning of wonderful atmosphere. Treat yourselves and staff with respect while you are at the Mission as well as respect for your fellow man when you leave. Give Paige the opportunity to treat your experience with her personal touch of professionalism and attention to detail. Thank her for getting the wonderful cost efficient LED lights on the way to installation. This commitment to wise energy use is a prime forecast to a successful future for us all.

Great place to experience a wide variety of music. If you're a musician, there's a lot of spots for 'open' nights, and tons of groups are getting booked every month under the new ownership! Worth the trip, and stop by one of the nearby restaurants for a to-go meal when you're hungry!

The Mission is fully decorated and reminiscent of a jook joint and is host to a wide variety of local artists. The blues and jazz bands that play are amazing. I really dig the whole laid back vibes while sipping on your favorite spirit and you will too, the bartender is a super cool dude, you gotta go to the Mission!

Quiet night at The Mission but the drinks are good and cheap and the open mic was pretty cool, thought “open mic” meant comedy but turns out it’s music. You’ve been warned.
